This week we talk about the Texas Legislature- and the fact that the portion of the Republican agenda that grows government is flying through the process, while property tax reform efforts have stalled.

We take some time to discuss Julian Castro’s concerning comments on Democrats advantage going into 2020.

 

A scandal this week brought certain bribes to light, which got unqualified students into the University of Texas. This isn’t the first time Texas conservatives have heard about college admissions problems at the University of Texas. Wallace Hall brought several issues to light while he was a regent at UT, and was crucified for it. His critics would prefer us to just forget about that situation.  Hear more about this issue on this week’s podcast.

And lastly, we discuss the fact that while significant pro-life reforms are being pushed by Governor’s in swing states like Georgia and Florida, our Lieutenant Governor and Governor have remained largely silent on whether they desire to expand protections for unborn children.
